How it works
From request to delivery, in five clear steps.
No mystery handoffs. Here is what happens after you send your shipment details, who does what, and when you hear from us.
- Step 1
- Tell us the details
- Step 2
- Get a clear quote
- Step 3
- Book and move
The process
You always know which step you are on.
A shipment is not a single transaction. It is a chain of small confirmations. We keep the chain visible.
Tell us about the shipment
Use the shipment form or email us. We need the origin, destination, cargo, weight or volume, readiness date and any deadline. If something is missing, we ask.
We compare the options
Air or sea, FCL or LCL, standard or express. We check current rates with our forwarding partners and explain the trade-offs between cost, speed and handling.
You get an itemised quote
The quote separates freight, origin charges, destination charges and optional extras such as insurance or door delivery. You approve before anything is booked.
We book and prepare the documents
Once you confirm, we book the space and coordinate the commercial invoice, packing list, transport documents and any permits with the forwarder and broker.
Track it to delivery
You get the tracking details and updates at the key points: collection, departure, arrival, customs and delivery. If something changes, we tell you.
Who does what
One booking, three sets of hands.
Cargoform
Your point of contact. We collect the details, compare options, present the quote, coordinate the booking and keep you updated.
Forwarder & broker
The licensed partners who contract with carriers, handle the transport documents and clear customs. Their terms apply to the carriage.
You
Provide accurate cargo details, pack correctly, hold any required permits and pay duties or taxes unless we agree otherwise in writing.
What to have ready
A better quote starts with better details.
You do not need everything to start. Estimates are fine. These are the details that make the biggest difference.
- Origin and destination city, port or airport.
- What the goods are and whether they are fragile, perishable or hazardous.
- Number of packages, total weight and dimensions or volume.
- The date the cargo is ready and the date you need it by.
- Whether you need pickup, door delivery, customs help or insurance.
- The declared value, if you want insurance or a duty estimate.
